Q.  Do you have a customer satisfaction or refund policy?
I do not ask for the balance owed if I do not do a superior job for you. That is way beyond the industry standard business practice.

Q.  What are your qualifications? Have you been professionally trained or certified?
I was trained by working for a competing DJ company when I was a beginner. I worked for them for about four years and while building my own company. For the last eight years, I have been fully independant.

Q.  What are your hourly rates?
I usually quote a 4 hour block amount and then charge a very low $50.00 per hour overtime fee. The amount quoted for the four hour block is entirely dependent on the characteristics of the event itself and ranges from $200-$1,000. Date, frame, location, stairs, # of sound systems, dance floor lighting, extra equipment needed (hula hoops, limbo set) all effect quotes.

Q.  Do you require a deposit? What is your cancellation policy?
I require a $100.00 deposit that is fully refundable until one month before the event. If you do some research, you'll find that extraordinarily reasonable.

Q.  What is your experience? How many events have you done?
I have 12 years experience as a DJ and have done over 800 wedding events as well as many birthday, anniversary, reunion, neighborhood, and school dance events.

Q.  Do you specialize in a specific genre of music?
I have a very diverse and comprehensive music collection that will delight any audience. "Radio Ready" edited versions of popular hits are in my collection. Songs for background and dancing range from the 1940's Swing Era to today's top 40 hits in Mainstream Pop, R&B/HipHop, Alternative Rock and Country.

Q.  Do you take requests?
I love to take requests both in advance from my client and also from guests at the event.

Q.  Can I provide my own music?
Clients can provide any music that I do not have in my collection. CD format is preferred but many clients have brought music in to me on I-Pods, memory sticks w/MP3 files and CD-R burnt discs.

Q.  Do you have back-up equipment in case of failure?
I have back-up music systems in case of failure. All of my equipment is pro level equipment and is built to last many years.

Q.  Will you also be the Master of Ceremonies (MC)?
Master of Ceremony duties are assumed to be needed when you hire me. Working smoothly with you, your guests and other vendors hired to work at the event is one of my best talents.

Q.  What is your standard attire?
I can wear a tux when needed (a small extra charge is added) but usually wear a comfortable combination of black shoes, black pants, black dress shirt, with a great silk tie with a music design on it.

Q.  Are you insured?
I am insured through R.V. Nuccio Insurance Company that specializes in DJ insurance.

Q.  How are you different from other disc jockeys?
I have over 12 years experience as a DJ and over 37 years experience as a musician. That gives me unique skills when it comes to successful handling of events with diverse audiences. I am a public school music teacher. That gives me unique skills when it comes to leading an event (confidence, poise, pacing, interaction with people). If that isn't enough of a difference, I am a ADJA & BBB member!
