Q.  Do you have a customer satisfaction or refund policy?
We work very hard to be customer-oriented to meet the customer's needs. We try to listen to what you want.

Q.  What are your qualifications? Have you been professionally trained or certified?
I worked in Chicago with a 19-year veteran disc jockey who was very well known there. Most of the events were weddings, but we also performed at other events such as birthday parties and retirement parties.

Q.  What are your hourly rates?
It varies. But our strategy is to have prices that are about average for the area.

Q.  Do you require a deposit? What is your cancellation policy?
The deposit is generally 40%. The deposit is not refundable if the customer cancels. However, the deposit may be used for another DJ event for a one year period. Our agreement defines this in detail.

Q.  What is your experience? How many events have you done?
Tommy started in July, 2002, with one of the most experienced DJs in Chicago (Anthony Cassano, 19 year veteran). We worked every weekend at weddings, mostly, and this intensive training would be difficult to duplicate even with much more time in another environment.

Q.  Do you specialize in a specific genre of music?
No, just about everything. As a youthfull DJ, I am especially cognizant of the fact that parents and grandparents often like different music than the event planners. I encourage customers to provide a variety of music to satisfy all of the guests.

Q.  Do you take requests?
Yes. These can be arranged in advance, or during the event. However, we only take requests if the hosts approve of the idea, and if the requested songs fit into the event and the ages of the guests. It is up to the customer to define the request policy that we use.

Q.  Can I provide my own music?
In many cases, yes, if it is on CDs.

Q.  Do you have back-up equipment in case of failure?
Our approach is to have very high quality professional equipment that is unlikely to fail, and then supplement it with many extra cables and accessories. We do have the ability to obtain a whole new set of equipment rapidly if the equipment is stolen, so that is not a concern.

Q.  Will you also be the Master of Ceremonies (MC)?
Yes, if you wish. We provide a form in advance to help plan this. But not everyone wants an MC, or a lot of MC work, so this is a personal preference.

Q.  What is your standard attire?
To fit the situation. We will discuss that in advance. Often I wear a vest with the appropriate shirt (tux, oxford) and tie.

Q.  Are you insured?
Yes. I have full liability insurance through an agency that specializes in DJ insurance.

Q.  How are you different from other disc jockeys?
Tommy Nutter, the lead DJ, was trained in Chicago with one of the most experienced and well-known DJs there. Young, fun. No breaks or intermissions in the music. We often "sync" the beat of the last song and the next song to keep the dancers on the floor. This technique is not common in many markets.
