Q.  Do you have a customer satisfaction or refund policy?
I send out a satisfaction survey to get feedback. I constantly receive Excellent ratings. There has never been a need for a refund. In fact I frequently receive more money in the form of a tip. :)

Q.  What are your qualifications? Have you been professionally trained or certified?
Member of the American DJ Association. Certified Music teacher. I have been in the entertainment business as a DJ, and in bands (drums, piano, guitar, harmonica...)I am one of the few DJs who is actually certified in music. I teach music for a Baltimore City Elementray school. Constantly researching entertainment videos and finding the perfect blend of elegant fun without any cheese.

Q.  What are your hourly rates?
Rates can be found in my pricing section. Approx. $750 for weddings. (subject to change) Each additional hour is $100/ hour on signing of the agreement. Overtime is $75/ half hour.

Q.  Do you require a deposit? What is your cancellation policy?
$250 retainer fee - required to hold the date, time, and DJ Billy Zee as your DJ. Cancellation Policy - cancellation by the client will foreit the retainer fee of $250. GOOD NEWS! - You can use that amount towards another event within one year of the agreed event date!

Q.  What is your experience? How many events have you done?
I have been entertaining for 20 years. It began in bands as a drummer and a piano player. Agencies saw my talent and they wanted me on their staff as a cocktail pianist and DJ. Eventually every excellent entertainer sees their value and begins to book events themselves.

Q.  Do you specialize in a specific genre of music?
I specialize in Variety. A little bit of everything.

Q.  Do you take requests?
Yes, unless otherwise noted, I do take requests. I will bring my complete selection of music.

Q.  Can I provide my own music?
I insist that you give me your song list for me to mix. There is soooo much music and you need to tell me what you like!

Q.  Do you have back-up equipment in case of failure?
This past year I have spent $$$$ in additional equipment. Why? I am always looking for the best and latest gear. IN the end, I have backup for my backup!

Q.  Will you also be the Master of Ceremonies (MC)?
Yes I insist on being the MC. I can select the perfect bed of music to compliment the announcements. I can arrange a seamless flow of events as the MC.

Q.  What is your standard attire?
Tux, suit, tie, vest, casual...it depends on the event and what the client prefers.

Q.  Are you insured?
  Yes - Liability insurance.

Q.  How are you different from other disc jockeys?
I am always purchasing the top of the line equipment. I am also a musician and an elemenatry school music teacher. I am not obnoxious. I plan every event. I do not "hard sell" like the agencies for each job. The event can be planned by email and without a meeting to save you time.
