Q.  Do you have a customer satisfaction or refund policy?
Yes. But in 40 years of being in the music business I've never had anyone ask for a refund. I do a great job.

Q.  What are your qualifications? Have you been professionally trained or certified?
I have almost 40 years experience in the music business. I've worked all venues. In my younger years I took numerous music theory courses at SUNY Albany. I've been a guitar teacher for 30 years and also play both keyboard and blues harmonica. I LOVE music; I live it. To my knowledge there are no "certified" DJ's -- just music professionals like myself.

Q.  What are your hourly rates?
$135 per hour -- minimum 3 hour event. Additional hours are $135 each. Non-profit organizations receive a 20% discount. We do fundraisers -- please contact us for more information. Multiple event bookings or contract arrangements are negotiable.

Q.  Do you require a deposit? What is your cancellation policy?
  I do require a $150 non-refundable deposit.

Q.  What is your experience? How many events have you done?
I've been a professional musician, entertainer, speaker and sound engineer for almost 40 years. We began our DJ business in 2004 and maintain the highest standards ... you'll be happy with the level of our service and professionalism!

Q.  Do you specialize in a specific genre of music?
I do all types of events including weddings, parties of all kinds, corporate events and religious events. I play a good mixture of music that gets the crowd dancing, partying and having a great time. I NEVER play music with sexually explicit lyrics, foul language or music not in good taste. I love a hopping dance floor and love all kinds of music.

Q.  Do you take requests?
  Absolutely.

Q.  Can I provide my own music?
  Yes.

Q.  Do you have back-up equipment in case of failure?
I have all pieces of equipment backed up completely with professional replacements. I use modern, professional, quality equipment and properly maintain it so malfunctions are rare.

Q.  Will you also be the Master of Ceremonies (MC)?
I have extensive experience both as a keynote speaker and MC. I will be happy to MC your event at no additional charge.

Q.  What is your standard attire?
For parties, generally business casual. For corporate events and weddings usually business attire unless the customer requests otherwise, as for example, they prefer I dress in formal attire.

Q.  Are you insured?
  Yes.

Q.  How are you different from other disc jockeys?
I give you a fun, professional event without resorting to "silliness" that cheapens your event. My vast experience in the music business is something most others just can't duplicate. I don't charge extra for basic dance lighting or emcee services as do many others. I believe everyone deserves my best. I don't have good, better, best packages. When you hire me every event gets the works!

Q.  Can I provide my own music?
Yes, but I don't recommend it unless you only have a few special tunes you'd like played. My expertise is in keeping the party going strong with the proper musical choices and getting people on the dance floor to have a great time. By selecting your own music you are, in effect, becoming your own disc jockey and will limit my ability to give you the event you deserve.

Q.  Do you require a deposit? What is your cancellation policy?
I do require a deposit. If you cancel prior to 30 days before the event your deposit will be returned. If you cancel less than 30 days prior to your event the deposit is non-refundable but you have no further obligation. What could be more fair?

Q.  Are you insured?
  Yes.
