He trained under acclaimed Chef Yannick Cam at Le Paradou, which is widely regarded as one of D.C.'s finest contemporary French restaurants and honored as one of the 25 best new restaurants in the United States by Esquire Magazine, among many other awards. More recently, he perfected his cooking expertise in the prestigious executive kitchen of The Washington Post preparing gourmet meals for ambassadors, dignitaries, and other public figures. Additionally, Chef Cartwright is well versed in preparing World foods, to include contemporary American, Italian, Spanish, Middle Eastern, Cuban and continental Mexican cuisine among others. Moreover, he makes tasty kosher foods and delicious diet-conscious meals. Chef Cartwright is a graduate from L'Academie de Cuisine, Washington's premier cooking school.
