Photography is exciting. So whether I'm shooting news for one of Chicago's papers or working on a family portrait, I'm always focused on the job at hand. Being a photojournalist is demanding, meeting deadlines & getting great images are a must if you want to keep working. That transcends into my wedding and event photography as well. Proofs can be ready in on site or within 2 weeks depending on the job. For most weddings the I color correct and crop for better images, ready to print digital images are available normally between 4-6 weeks and I respond to all clients promptly. I always dress professionally, as I’m representing myself as well as my work. While I’m not looking to work for minimum wage, I would always rather be making images. So I do offer discounts in certain instances like last minute weddings & odd day or winter weddings. A refund policy is written into all contracts in the event of cancellation due to circumstances out of either parties control or advanced cancellation. Due to interpretation, refunds on satisfaction are made on technical issues only.

I have a B.A in photography from Columbia College. As well as over 12 years as a professional photographer.

Rates & packages vary from $800 to $7000. Depending on the date, hours and how you would like your images.

Q.	Do you require a deposit?
Yes. Half of the total amount. Not due at time of contract signing, unless the wedding is within 4 months.

Q.	How many pictures do you take?
Average about 200 an hour during ceremony or roughly 1,500 to 2,000 or more for an 8 hour event.

Usually included in my packages.

Currently I average over a dozen weddings a year.

Q.	What is your photographic style?
I document each event much like I would a news story. I do know there is a time & place for posed images and when and how they are done is always up to the couple.

Q.	Do you provide black and white photography?
I shoot all color and RAW, then convert the images to black and white at the couple request or when I think an image works better in B&W. It's always better to capture color and change it to B&W.
